Koda was a Sheltie with a heart as big as the mountains she loved to explore. Gentle by nature and incredibly observant, she had a quiet confidence — never loud, but always present. She was the kind of dog who didn’t chase excitement, but soaked in the world with calm curiosity. Loyal, sweet, and a little shy with strangers, Koda saved her warmest energy for those she trusted most.
One of our most cherished memories is this moment by the turquoise lake, framed by snow-covered peaks. Koda sat peacefully on the dock, her soft fur ruffled by the breeze, her eyes full of calm wonder. She looked so small against the vast wilderness, yet somehow, she completed it.
Now that Koda has crossed the rainbow bridge, the trails feel a little emptier. But her spirit still walks beside me — in every mountain breeze, every quiet sunrise, every lake that reflects the sky.
She wasn’t just my dog. She was my calm in the chaos, my steady soul in a noisy world. I miss her deeply.
Forever loved. Forever Koda.
